Common questions
-
Who qualifies for a VidaLite trade account?
Interior designers, architects, contractors, electricians, developers, and procurement teams who specify or purchase lighting for client projects. We verify resale or business license info on the application.
-
How does trade pricing work?
Approved accounts get 15% off list, applied at checkout when you're signed in. Specifying a larger project? Request a quote and we'll add volume pricing on top of your trade rate.
-
What's the typical lead time on a trade order?
Most in-stock SKUs ship within 1-2 business days from our US warehouse. Larger project orders and made-to-order finishes are quoted on a per-project basis with a guaranteed ship date.
-
Do you offer Net-30 terms?
Yes β Net-30 is available on approved trade accounts after a credit review. Smaller orders can be placed on card while terms are being set up.
-
Can I get IES files and dimensional drawings?
Every fixture has a published cut sheet, photometric IES file, and dimensional drawing on the product page. Your account manager can also send a project-specific spec package on request.
-
What's your return policy on trade orders?
Unused, in-original-packaging fixtures can be returned within 30 days for a refund minus restocking. Made-to-order finishes and large project orders are non-returnable but covered by our 5-year warranty.
-
Do you ship to project sites or only to my office?
We ship to any US address β job site, warehouse, designer office, or directly to your client. Each order can have its own ship-to address.
